Representative users/scenarios, created by analyzing accumulated qualitative and quantitative research data. Personas are useful to help communicate research information such as stories about users, what their tasks and responsibilities are, their goals and frustrations, and what their environment is like. Personas can be used to help decide if a product's direction aligns with customer needs and expectations, and the help team members build empathy and understanding.
Example
This example persona (blurred for client privacy) was created collaboratively with another UX designer at the Sandbox Agency as part of a larger web application product. This persona is a summary of research from stakeholder and customer interviews as well as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) user scenario mapping session.
