A diagram/map of the flow of user interaction and system requirements behind the scenes to determine how tasks will be completed. Often demonstrates the flows for multiple paths/choices and is useful for communicating complex tasks in a single visual format.

This example was for an email campaign being conducted by the Sandbox Agency. The original campaign requirements were captured in a long-form Word document, so I converted them into a task flow to make them more understandable for the creative and development teams.
